If soot deposits occur, you can easily remove them with a damp cloth. To reuse the glass after the burning time, wait until the candle extinguishes by itself and remove the wick holder and any wax residues with hot water. Grease and soot stains can be removed with dish soap or in the dishwasher. Melt out wax residues beforehand with hot water: Pour hot (not boiling!) water into the glass - the wax residues collect on the surface and can be removed as a \"lid\".
