Green Man - Tree Spirit - Guardian of the Forest
The Green Man, with his leafy head and clear, piercing gaze, can still be found in many churches and cathedrals today. A symbol - or a sensual image? - for the spirit of nature that permeates everything...
Depictions of gods, beings with leafy wreaths, can be found in all ancient pagan cultures and have also found their way into Christian churches. In ancient myths, the tree spirit is considered the lord of the forests, the guardian of nature. He knows its laws, he knows the rhythm of birth and death and their return, the eternal cycle of life - wild, primal life.
As the lover of the Earth Mother, as the companion of the Goddess, he embodies the masculine principle, stands for protection and deep knowledge (magic!), but also for growth and fertility in the cycle of life. In ancient Celtic depictions, you can also find him as Cernunnos with stag antlers, in a meditative posture. With counterparts in all cultures, whether they are called Shiva, Osiris, Dionysus - reawakened in fantasy literature as Ents...
Our Green Man is not a classic ancient depiction of a god, but he is a figure full of stories and magic. Invite them to you, the magic and spirit of nature!

Lichtbringer ritual candles give you time for your small daily ritual. Time for the essentials. Take a moment of peace, light the flame, listen within yourself. Hand over your wishes to the candle flame - it stands for the transformative power of fire. Let your wishes go in peace and enjoy the light before you set off again into the everyday world :)

Candles work with the element of fire, never leave them burning unsupervised and only use fireproof bases for them. For the first burn, it is best to let the candle burn until the top wax pool has melted all the way to the edge. If the candle ever smokes, it is advisable to trim the wick before lighting (carefully cut off the top end, leaving at least 8 mm).
