Paisley drops gracefully dance around each other on delicate mint green. This oriental pattern appears fresh and vibrant due to its blue-green coloring. We have it in stock in two sizes.
The block-printed cloths are woven from durable, dense cotton and hand-printed with classic Indian patterns. Due to the sometimes slightly irregular print, they show a unique liveliness; each piece is handmade and a small unique item. Patterns and colors are applied layer by layer, creating ornaments with impressive color depth and complex patterns that are allowed to grow in this way - layer by layer. A stamp block, by the way, is about 20 by 20 centimeters in size :)

The technique of printing textiles with wooden stamps is over 4000 years old and originated in the Indus Valley Civilization. To this day, this traditional craftsmanship is still carried out mainly in Rajasthan in small family businesses. Even the stamps are hand-carved, and the patterns are carefully guarded in each workshop :)
Irregularities in print and color are not flaws, but a sign of handmade quality :) Each color is stamped individually and carefully layered, creating the intricate patterns. Each piece is unique!
