The story of the meditating Buddha goes back to Prince Gautama, who lived over 2000 years ago at the foot of the Himalayas. In his quest, he wandered through the wilderness for many years, practiced asceticism, learned from spiritual masters and studied the known religions. One day, tired, he sat under a banyan tree and let his thoughts flow. This inner journey led him deeper and deeper – and deep in meditation he discovered the cycle of life and a great truth: Every person can become Buddha, if they embark on this inner journey:
