Menthol crystals are extracted from the essential oil of field mint. The crystals form upon cooling and are 100 percent natural.
Menthol fumigation is not suitable for pregnant women, infants, children, or the elderly!
Menthol crystals irritate the skin, so they should not be touched by hand. It's best to dispense them with tongs, a smoking spoon, or similar tools. Please use sparingly - even a single crystal creates a considerable cold draft. Its use in the sauna is extremely effective, but due to the aforementioned skin-irritating properties, it should be enjoyed with great care. Overdosing can lead to irritation of the eyes and respiratory tract. Menthol should be stored in a cool place - it liquefies when heated.
