MYRTLE LEAVES have been used as incense in ancient Mesopotamian and biblical cultures for thousands of years - a symbol of purity, beauty, and love. In Greece, this plant was dedicated to Aphrodite, the goddess of love. There are many wedding customs that use myrtle leaves or branches - the plant is considered a protective plant for lovers. The leaves are burned for blessing, cleansing, prayer, and meditation.
Myrtle is also one of the mystery plants and is called upon for divination.
Myrtle leaves can be placed on a heat-insulating layer (e.g. sand) on charcoal - this prevents the leaves from smoldering too quickly. When using an incense burner, a good distance from the candle is recommended.

We source these from selected specialist incense dealers and other trusted colleagues, and herbs from specialist retailers for natural raw materials (just like our food). Incense for us is pure plant helper power! That's why we invest a lot of time in researching the sources of our raw materials in order to offer them as sustainably as possible.
And it should be noted: We offer our resins, woods, and herbs exclusively for burning, and all our good advice is based on traditional knowledge and our own experiences. Of course, these do not replace a qualified advisor (doctor, naturopath, ...). And whether something works as it is written, well, never forget: Only you can open the door :) Just as only you can bear responsibility for yourself...
