A light for inner peace. In Hinduism and Buddhism, the syllable OM (in the phonetic translation from Sanskrit: AUM) is one of the most important spiritual symbols. Om is the primordial sound, the first vibration of creation, a mystical sound. Whoever grasps it attains all desires - so it is written in the Upanishads, the sacred texts of Indian (Vedic) mythology. A symbol for spiritual power, self-discovery and the primal sound of all being.
During the Aum sound in meditation, the breath flows very slowly out of the mouth and the entire body is set into vibration. Although OM is the shortest, it is considered the most comprehensive and powerful mantra. In Buddhism, mantras of several words are often placed before this syllable to facilitate inner concentration.
We handcraft this special ritual candle in our Lichtbringer manufactory. The candle medallion is made of natural wax and is decorated with the Om symbol on both sides of the candle. The candle, made of natural white rapeseed wax, is ideal for painting with commercially available candle paints.

About beeswax:
Beeswax is a natural metabolic product of bees, which they use to build honeycombs. We only use beeswax from German beekeeping cycles, for the welfare of bees and to support beekeeping as a traditional craft. A 100% natural wax without additives. A fine, whitish layer on our beeswax candles is a sign of quality and not a reason for complaint. The coating is caused by storage in cool rooms and is a sign that you are holding pure beeswax in your hands. If the candles warm up (in cozy homes :), the coating will disappear by itself. It can also be removed by gently rubbing with a fine cloth.
Candles work with the element of fire, never leave them burning unattended and only use fireproof bases for them. For the first burn, it is best to let the candle burn until the top wax pool has melted to the edge. If the candle ever smokes, it is recommended to trim the wick before lighting (carefully cut off the top, leaving at least 8 mm).
