This thick pillar candle is handcrafted from pure rapeseed wax. Rapeseed wax burns similarly to paraffin, but is plant-based, GMO-free, and produced in Germany. The candle is artisanally made. All candles are hand-poured in our manufactory - the Lichtbringer Company in Altmark. With a diameter of 5.8 cm, this pillar has good stability, for example, for a candle plate. Due to its impressive height, this plant wax candle is very suitable as a blank for personalizing a christening candle, birthday candle, etc.

Our candles are hand-poured - minor variations and imperfections are testament to this and are a mark of quality :) Fine hairline cracks in the surface are inherent to the material due to the relatively hard nature of the wax and do not affect the burning. Rapeseed wax is the hardened oil of the rapeseed plant, which grows throughout Europe. To improve the melting properties, the hardened rapeseed oil is blended with a small proportion of chemical special waxes - it contains no paraffin. This proportion is so small that most rapeseed wax candle manufacturers don't even mention it.
Candles work with the element of fire; never leave them burning unattended and only use fireproof bases. For the first burn, it is best to let the candle burn until the entire wax pool has melted to the edge. If the candle ever smokes, it is advisable to trim the wick before lighting (carefully cut off the top end, leaving at least 8 mm).
