STYRAX immerses us in a wave of fragrance; a scent for bathing... a true balm for the soul. Sweet, warm, sensual, the smoke is relaxing and mood-lifting, helps strained nerves, calms and grounds.
Styrax is the liquid balm of the oriental sweetgum tree (Liquidambar orientalis). For better burning, it is drizzled onto charcoal tablets and mixed with essential oils. The styrax balm mentioned in historical sources comes from the true styrax tree, whose balm is now rarely (and very expensively) available. Our styrax comes from Central America and is therefore "false" styrax - but it is one of the finest incense fragrances for the soul. We offer styrax bark from the true styrax tree for burning (see Roots & Woods).

Our incense range is a treasure chest; here you will find resins, woods, and herbs from all over the world. We source these from selected specialist incense retailers and other trusted colleagues, and herbs from specialist retailers for natural raw materials (just like our food). For us, burning incense is pure plant helper power! That's why we invest a lot of time in researching the sources of our raw materials to be able to offer them as sustainably as possible.
And it should be noted: We offer our resins, woods, and herbs exclusively for burning, and all our good advice is taken from traditional lore and our own experiences. Of course, these do not replace a qualified advisor (doctor, naturopath, ...).
