About beeswax:
Beeswax is a natural metabolic product of bees, used by them for honeycomb construction. Beeswax candles are therefore a natural product that should be used consciously and carefully. Pay attention to the most regional origin of the wax possible. - We use beeswax from the German beekeeping cycle, for the well-being of bees and to support beekeeping as a traditional craft.
A fine, whitish layer on our beeswax candles is a sign of quality and not a reason for complaint. The bloom occurs due to long storage and storage in cool rooms and is a sign that you are holding pure beeswax. If the candles warm up (in cozy homes :), the bloom will disappear on its own. It can also be removed by gently rubbing with a fine cloth.
Candles work with the element of fire, never leave them burning unattended and only use fireproof bases. To burn in, it is best to let the candle burn until the upper wax pool has melted to the edge. If the candle ever smokes, it is recommended to shorten the wick before lighting (carefully trim the upper end, leaving at least 8 mm).
