MUGWORT is one of humanity's oldest ritual plants. A truly protective herb, the last to be harvested in the year, which was then used for smudging houses and stables. The mother of herbs helps you to ground yourself, to pause at important turning points in life, and to perceive the voice from the unconscious. Mugwort is also one of the most important smudging herbs from our old native tradition; it grows almost everywhere in this country, especially along roadsides, rubble heaps, disused places... it re-colonizes these areas and gets the energies flowing again.
A herb with strong feminine energy, with mother power - it used to be widely used by midwives to induce labor - getting energies flowing :)
Mugwort was and is a very important component of the herbal bouquets that are bound (among other things) for the annual cycle festivals - summer solstice, winter solstice.

How to use: Light the mugwort smudge stick directly at the tip (with a lighter, candle flame, ...) & wave out the flames. Now the mugwort glows at the tip. With this smudge stick, you can now walk through the room - perhaps holding a small plate, smudge shell underneath to catch glowing herbal residues. Now you can smudge the room - walk in circles from one corner to the other, you can also say a few words - and then ventilate well. What needs to go out needs open doors! You can also smudge yourself and other people wonderfully with mugwort. To extinguish it, stick the glowing tip into a bowl of sand, for example. Store dry, then you can continue smudging next time. This can be the very next day, or many times later - follow your intuition. If you can "smell it," it's not too much.
