This swamp root, associated with the moon, was brought to Europe from Asia and, according to legend, was planted by the Mongols at horse watering holes to purify the water. It is therefore about cleansing from all poisons so that energies can flow again. In its original home in Asia, the plant is smoked to brighten and strengthen the spirit; it can gently cleanse the channels and get things flowing again.
