The Tree of Life is a powerful ancient symbol, found in the mythology of many peoples across the globe (as the World Tree, Yggdrasil, Seat of the Gods) - a symbol for the eternal cycle of life, of which we are all a part. This symbol strengthens awareness of life's natural cycles, of the constancy of change as part of life, of new beginnings and endings, fertility and death. A light for life! And thus, a wonderful gift for a new earthly year.
We handcraft these special ritual candles in our Lichtbringer Manufactory. The candle medallion is made of 100% beeswax and is adorned with the Tree of Life on both sides of the candle.

- These ritual candles are made from natural wax and are therefore even better suited for outdoor use. It goes without saying that any residue should be carefully removed :) - even if mice and their relatives are happy to feast on them.

About beeswax:
Beeswax is a natural metabolic product of bees, which they use to build their honeycombs. We only use beeswax from the German beekeeping cycle, for the welfare of bees and to support beekeeping as a traditional craft. A 100% natural wax without additives. A fine, whitish layer on our beeswax candles is a sign of quality and no reason for complaint. The coating occurs when stored in cool rooms and is a sign that you are holding pure beeswax. If the candles warm up (in cozy homes :), the coating disappears on its own. It can also be removed by gently rubbing with a fine cloth.
Candles work with the element of fire; never leave them burning unattended and only use fireproof bases. For the first burn, it is best to let the candle burn until the upper wax pool has melted all the way to the edge. If the candle ever smokes, it is recommended to trim the wick before lighting (carefully cut off the top end, leaving at least 8 mm).
