The Tree of Life is a powerful ancient symbol found in the mythology of many peoples on this earth (as the World Tree, Yggdrasil, Seat of the Gods) - a symbol for the eternal cycle of life, of which we are all a part. This symbol strengthens awareness of the natural cycles of life, of the constancy of change as part of life, of new beginnings and endings, fertility and death. A light for life! And thus a wonderful gift for a new earthly year.
We handcraft this special ritual candle in our Lichtbringer workshop. The candle medallion is made of vegan rapeseed wax and is decorated with the Tree of Life on both sides of the candle. The candle, made of natural white rapeseed wax, is ideal for painting with commercially available candle paints. Since we mix the colors ourselves with a recipe and intuition, the shade may vary slightly. Please also note that computer screens do not always reproduce colors faithfully.

- These ritual candles are made from natural wax and are therefore even better suited for outdoor use. It goes without saying that any remnants should be carefully removed :) - as mice & relatives like to feast on them.

About Rapeseed Wax:
Rapeseed wax is the hardened oil of the rapeseed plant, which grows throughout Europe. This vegetable wax has a similar burning behavior to paraffin, but is of vegetable origin (vegan), GMO-free, and produced in Germany. Our candles are hand-poured - minor deviations and irregularities are evidence of this and are a mark of quality :) The material occasionally has fine hairline cracks on the surface; this is due to the relatively hard nature of the wax and does not affect the burning. To improve the melting properties, the hardened rapeseed oil is blended with a small proportion of special chemical waxes - it contains no paraffin. This proportion is so small that most rapeseed wax candle manufacturers do not even mention it.
