OPOPONAX, the "sweet myrrh" from Africa, is the resin of an acacia species that survives in a barren desert and abundantly collects its resin in deep grooves. Its scent creates a warm and soft mantle that envelops everything, can soothe stressed nerves and calm the mind. It is a very penetrating fragrance that deeply enters the interior and creates a protective shell. Power comes from stillness is perhaps a fitting description for this incense message.
Traditionally, the resin has been and is used in Africa for its antiseptic properties as a cleansing incense. It can sharpen perception and stimulate the senses.
