Pan and Freya are an unlikely couple - because they come from entirely different mythologies. And yet, their energies fit together very well.
Both, in the Neo-Pagan tradition (which draws from ancient stories), stand for spring and fertility, for love, wild life, for lust and ecstasy. Both are free spirits who go their own way, come together and let go... just like the nature of love. These two candles are therefore available as a pair; they represent the feminine and masculine energies. They are perfect companions for Beltane and other fertility festivals, for love rituals that don't want to hold on but rather touch the essence of love :)
Pan, the hybrid creature of human and animal - with a human torso and goat's legs - originates from Greek mythology. He is the god of the forest and wild nature, often depicted as the horned god. A pastoral god in Greek myths, a wild, earthy, and ecstatic god, also associated with the retinue of Dionysus, he represents the unbridled human instincts that tickle us from wild nature :)
Freya is a Norse goddess of fertility and spring, a goddess of lust and love, a teacher of magic. She is also called a war goddess - as she receives the souls of those slain in battle in her hall Folkvangr. She is strong and independent, uses magic, yet never chooses violence to achieve her goals - so it is written in the old stories. She too is a free spirit without a fixed companion, but with much love and maternal energy in her heart.

Lichtbringer ritual candles give you time for your small daily ritual. Time for the essential. Take a moment of peace, light the flame, listen within yourself. Entrust your wishes to the candle flame - it stands for the transformative power of fire. Let your wishes gently drift away and enjoy the light before you set out again into the everyday world :)

Candles work with the element of fire; never leave them burning unattended and only use fireproof bases. For the first burn, let the candle burn until the top wax pool has melted to the edge. If the candle ever smokes, it is recommended to trim the wick before lighting (carefully cut off the top end, leaving at least 8 mm).
