It stands tall and upright, swaying in the Atlantic winds – Pinus pinaster, the Portuguese maritime pine. It gives us an incense resin with a warm, woody, aromatic scent, softer than classic pine resin and a little spicier. It is suitable for cleansing homes and farms, disinfecting, and for inner upliftment – upright and strong like the pine, it dances with the wind, it sways and it bends, yet it remains standing.
It is a warming, harmonious scent that brings relaxation and calms the nerves. A soul resin that envelops you, and can give you strength and power. We collected our pine resin in Portugal on the Atlantic coast; it carries the vast Atlantic winds that have raged across the ocean :)
