Our sound animals are similar in tone to sound blocks, but are much easier to play: Since the birds are mounted freely swinging on their stand, they produce a sound with every stroke. They are carved from jackfruit wood, which, due to its density, produces a full, warm sound. In addition, the backs of both birds are grooved - if you rub the wooden mallet over the grooves, a rattling sound is produced, similar to what is known from the sound frog.
Grooves and the free-swinging sound bodies thus create a sound instrument with many possibilities that is easy to play and looks appealing. An instrument that can wonderfully and playfully awaken the joy of rhythm and various sounds!
