They burn wonderfully, but are not as visually perfect as the first choice candles.
These taper candles are handmade from pure rapeseed wax. We are pleased to offer you these dinner candles made from pure vegetable wax as an alternative to paraffin. Rapeseed wax has similar burning properties to paraffin, but is of plant origin, GMO-free and produced in Germany.

Our candles are hand-poured - minor deviations and irregularities are evidence of this and are a mark of quality :) The material itself occasionally has fine hairline cracks in the surface; this is due to the relatively hard nature of the wax and does not harm the burning. Rapeseed wax is the hardened oil of the rapeseed plant, which grows throughout Europe. To improve the melting properties, the hardened rapeseed oil is mixed with a small proportion of special chemical waxes - it does not contain paraffin. This proportion is so small that most rapeseed wax candle manufacturers don't even mention it.
Candles work with the element of fire, never leave them burning unattended and only use fireproof bases for them. For the initial burn, it is best to let the candle burn until the upper wax pool has melted all the way to the rim. If the candle ever smokes, it is recommended to trim the wick before lighting (carefully cut off the top, leaving at least 8 mm).
