TOLU BALSAM, a highly respected medicinal plant in Native American medicine, comes from the evergreen balsam tree in South America. The incense has a warm-spicy, balsamic scent, with a soft vanilla and slightly smoky note – a fragrance experience that can be enjoyed neat. This is particularly fine for evening fumigations and all times for relaxation, to unwind.
A strong healing smoke that has long been traditionally used – in Native American folk medicine for headaches and coughs, it is even said to have an immune-boosting effect. The smoke is also considered a cough suppressant, so smoke sparingly, a tiny bit is enough :)
The balsam hardens into a very hard, brittle resin, traditionally used for perfuming rooms and as a fragrant ingredient for incense mixtures. In the perfume industry, Tolu balsam is considered a fixative – meaning it binds the various fragrances and strengthens the mixture.

Our incense range is a treasure chest, here you will find resins, woods, herbs from all over the world. We source these from selected incense retailers and other trusted colleagues, herbs from specialist retailers for natural raw materials (just like our food). For us, burning incense is pure plant helper power! That's why we put a lot of time into researching the sources of our raw materials to be able to offer them as sustainably as possible.
And it should be noted: We offer our resins, woods, and herbs exclusively for burning, and all our good advice is taken from traditional lore and our own experiences. These, of course, do not replace a qualified advisor (doctor, naturopath, ...). And whether something works as it is written, well, never forget: Only you alone can open the door :) Just as only you alone can bear the responsibility for yourselves ...
