The Triskele originates from Celtic mythology and symbolizes the cycle of life: becoming - being - passing away. It also stands for the sacred number three, which serves as a spiritual basis for religions in many cultures. A candle for beginnings and transitions, for the constant change of life.
We handcraft this special ritual candle in our Lichtbringer manufactory. The candle is made of natural rapeseed wax and is decorated with a Triskele. Since we mix the colors ourselves using recipes and intuition, the shade may vary slightly. Please also remember that computer screens do not always reproduce colors faithfully.

About rapeseed wax:
Rapeseed wax is the hardened oil of the rapeseed plant, which grows all over Europe. The vegetable wax has similar burning properties to paraffin, but is of vegetable origin, GMO-free and produced in Germany. Our candles are hand-poured - minor variations and imperfections are testament to this and are a mark of quality :)
Candles work with the element of fire, never leave them burning unattended and only use fireproof bases. For the initial burn, it is best to let the candle burn until the top wax pool has melted all the way to the edge. If the candle ever smokes, it is advisable to trim the wick before lighting (carefully cut off the top end, leaving at least 8 mm).
